THE CUSTOMER’S NEED
The customer, a mechanical company located in the north of Italy that manufactures industrial automation components, had the need to reorganise its electrical distribution cabin and the desire to carry out an energy-efficient intervention, all while having limited space available.
INGENUITY FOR THE IDEAL SOLUTION
The tailor-made solution proposed by Ortea was to design a single machine capable of satisfying both needs: a 2000kVA Enersolve, which along with the traditional efficiency section also has the necessary equipment for the power centre function.
This case study demonstrates how, with an ingenious approach and appropriate devices, it is possible to install a stabiliser that solves even complex requirements. This can be an example for anyone facing a similar challenge, highlighting the importance of planning, choosing the right technological solution and integrating it with the existing system.
The challenge faced by our engineering team was a complex one, as the customer’s system consists of four MV/LV transformers, four substations and a photovoltaic system.
The machine was also designed in a decomposable way to solve logistical installation problems, and on-board visualisation and control devices connected to other customer equipment were installed.
Customisation continues to be one of Ortea’s strengths most appreciated by the market.
