Ortea test room has recently undergone a major upgrade: the installation of a new electrical panel dedicated to “Induced-Voltage Testing” on isolation transformers up to 2MVA. This test is performed at no-load, with a voltage equal to 2/3 times the nominal value (of voltage and frequency), and allows accurate verification of the insulation between winding turns and/or between phases.
It’s another step in the continuous path to improve the testing steps to ensure safe and technologically advanced products for our Customers.
