Ortea has produced two Sirius voltage stabilisers of huge size, which will solve voltage fluctuation problems in two chemical plants located in Ghana and Nigeria.
The two plants, which produce pesticides, are owned by a customer located in the United Arab Emirates who chose Ortea to improve the overall power quality of its production units located in Africa.
One of the two voltage stabilisers has already been delivered and is ready for commissioning, while the other is about to be shipped.
THE TWO SIRIUS MAIN FEATURES
Both voltage stabilisers have the same specifications:
- Rated Power: 4000kVA
- Input voltage regulation: ±20%.
- Dimensions: 6200x2000x2400mm
- Weight: 13200kg
Both units are equipped with a total protection kit consisting of:
- Input circuit breaker
- By-pass switch with interlocked circuit breaker
- Motorised interlocked output circuit breaker
